Fruit Juice CSR Platform

Juice CSR Platform

The Juice CSR Platform was set up in 2013 with the aim to inspire and support the European fruit juice industry to integrate corporate social responsibility (CSR) in its business operations and core strategy. The Platform was co-funded by the European Commission and set up by AIJN, Sociability, IDH, UTZ Certified, and AZTI-Tecnalia. The first phase of the Platform has paved the way for more collaboration and development of a truly multi-stakeholder structure.

The year 2016 started with a new Platform management partner, Fair & Sustainable Advisory Services - a well-known Dutch consultancy specialized in sustainable supply chains. Together with AIJN, Fair and Sustainable AS will work hard to execute ambitious 2016 work plan that was agreed by Platform members in the Platform Plenary meeting on 10 February.

In addition, and next to the Working Group on Orange / Brazil that kick-started last September, Platform members decided to launch two new Working Groups:
- one on apples and berries from Europe,
- and another on pineapples from Thailand.
The objective of these Working Groups is to agree on a joint approach for action: a collaborative program (new or existing) that tackles the most crucial juice value chain issues for that particular country-crop combination.
Finally, we are revisiting our communication and promotion strategies, to demonstrate great drive for the Platform in 2016. So, join us along the way!  For more information you can visit and contact us at
